We decided to keep our priority first on research and science, and second on the development and new startup in nanotechnologies for businesses. in the first part of the strategy in R&D we have Kurchatov Institute who is leader in coordinating of the russian nanotechnology for sience … and in the second part of the strategy in the business development we have Rosnano. Rosnano that's the Russian state of company who is responsible for developing russian nanotechnologies for industry.

what portion of the funds Rosnanotech is going to designate to large projects and what portion do you see going to the venture funds, seed-funds and …structure project specifically to the small businesses? how do you see the breaking up?

Well, the typical size of the project we … is between 10 million dollars and 100 million dollars. so we're doing this diapason the project which we are already supporting. at the same time we do understand that the plenty of smaller project which have make sense and we need to do the instrument to support them. and the venture funds and the seed-funds that's the instrument to support smaller project or to support project of the very-very early stage … and that's why we're now elaborating the concept of venture funds and seed-funds we are going to create and this concept will be submitted to our board in June. and if our board will support it – if we will get a permission from our board – it seems to be July, August, September, we will start to create this fund. single fund. there will be the family of funds or ecosystem of funds starting from the small fund like … fund for 20–40 million dollars to support the seed-stage of R&D and finishing by the huge fund. we think about the fund which may have the size up to 2 billion dollars which will be designated not for the small but to the big project – big international project – which we are discussing now. so this family of funds – there will be smallest, small, medium and big – that's our plan. we are not yet get approval, but i hope we will get it and we can speak about the details more ..

…and what is existing commercial, one of the institutions in innovative economy which is, to my understanding, is quite official. that's the fund to support the small innovative businesses. the guy named Bortnik is founder of this fund. and we call it Bortnik fund. so this fund is quite official and supportive a number of small businesses in different areas of Russia. and … may understand that among the projects which we are dealing with that's big proportion of projects the application we made by the small companies supported from this fund 5 years ago, 7 years ago, 2 years ago.. so it looks like on this stage we already have some institutions that's quite official. i would not consider Rosnano as the only innovative center in Russia, which should do everything. we need to full the niche, we need to deal with those problems which is not solved already .
